tis the season for salsa

Mmmmm. gotta love this time of year. humidity is at it's all-time high. temperatures peak at 90 degrees. and tomato gardens are in full production. :) which means my kitchen is the happiest place to be...it's salsa time!

jalapeno, onion, cilantro, lime, bell pepper, garlic (sorry i didn't include you in the picture, garlic). everyone ready to be chopped into deliciousness?

ahhhhhh, give me some chips, i'm going in for a dip....

What a cute description of some yummy looking food. Did you grow the ingredients?

...so, it's 4 jalapenos, 1 onion, 2 green pepper, a bunch of fresh cilantro, 1 lime and about 2 pints of tomatoes? Thanks. I might make some, too. Your Mom gave me a spoken recipe about at Jacobs 1st birthday party but I didn't write it down. I'm serious. Is this about how much you used of each?

karen- there are some more ingredients that are not pictured....hence jessie's comment "secret recipe" i only took a picture of my fresh ingredients. :) and there is NO WAY ON EARTH that i would put that much cilantro in my salsa. i probably only used about 1/16 of that bunch. cilantro makes me gag, but it IS a key ingredient. :)
candace- you better hurry and make your's- your tomatoes will soon be too rotten to use them!
to all- i sadly gave away all but a couple bites of this batch. i gave them to the person who purchased the farmer's market tomatoes for me.
